Does it cost money to interlibrary loan an article?
Answer
When you do your initial search for an article, you will want to limit your search to full-text. Most students are able to find an article for their research without requesting an article through interlibrary loans.
Libraries can charge from $30-$60 for some articles. We will not request articles from libraries that charge. If we can not fill your article at no charge we will send you an email. Sometimes your public libraries will be able to get articles at no cost and would be able to get the request faster than we can.
