I have a citation to a journal article. How do I find the journal and the article in the NAU Online Library?

Answer

There are several ways to determine whether the NAU Library has a journal or magazine:

1. On the Library's homepage, at the top of the page, you will find a red tab labeled "Research." Click on the tab to see a drop-down list. Search by Journal Title. If the Library has the journal or magazine, you will see a link to search one or more databases. Click on a database. You may have the choice to search within the publication or by the article's date.

When you click on a journal found in the Gale OneFile Military and Intelligence database, the database may say "Document Not Available." This statement means that articles from this journal are not available in full text.

2. There is also a link to Publication Finder on your results page in OneSearch. In the left column of your results, click on the link to Publications—type keywords from the title of the journal. Click on the correct journal title. Choose a database. You will see "Publication Details" for the publication—search issues by year and volume.  Use the "Search within this publication" link" and Advanced Search if needed.
