How does the NAU Online Library allow you to do a smart search for resources?

Answer

The NAU Online Library has several "smart search" methods to find resources:

1. Use the Library's OneSearch box on the Library's homepage and in many of the Library Guides to locate full-text articles. In the box, type several keywords from your topic. On the OneSearch results page, narrow your results using the filters at the top of the page.

2. Use one of the Library's databases to locate full-text articles. Type several keywords from your topic in the search boxes. To narrow your results, use the limiters in the left column.

3. For news, legal resources, or company and financial information, use the Nexis Uni database. There is a link to the Nexis Uni database on the Library's homepage. Type several keywords in the box at the top of the page and click the red square. On the results page, narrow your results using the filters in the left column.

If you need help with your search, please email: askalibrarian@national.libanswers.com or schedule an appointment with the librarian.
